Singer-songwriters in the world, write your arse off. It is the seventh edition of FAWM. It all started as a personal songwriting project from singer-songwriter Burr Settles. He recruited 3 friends to write 14 songs in one month.

FAWM is a global event and it is growing every time. Here are some facts from Wikipedia:

• 2005 – 513 songs, 25 completed the challenge*
• 2006 – 1,372 songs, 71 completed
• 2007 – 2,706 songs, 128 completed
• 2008 – 5,710 songs, 522 active members, 280 completed
• 2009 – 7,375 songs, 754 active members, 339 completed
• 2010 – 10,263 songs, 1,073 active fawmers, 487 completed

So that’s the goal readers! Try to write 14 songs in one month. So get your pen and write the lyrics and submit them on the FAWM site and in the comments of this post.
