De plaat is klaar. Ingmar heeft alle tracks laten masteren en het resultaat mag er zijn.

Zelf heb ik Pressure During Fall geschreven. Het lied gaat over het feit dat wanneer het minder gaat met mensen, dat gas terug nemen vaak helpt om een moeilijke tijd door te komen. Dit thema sluit dan ook goed aan bij het album waarin het contrast wordt gelegd tussen hoop en geen hoop.

Het lied is de derde track.

Het album is te beluisteren, maar ook vooral te koop: € 14,-.

Woensdag 4 mei ben ik in de studio in Groningen om bij Ingmar de Vos de definitieve stemmen in te zingen voor het (No) Hope project. Daarna wordt de gehele collectie helemaal afgemixed en zal deze daarna worden uitgebracht in iTunes en Spotify.

Here’s the first song of the week. These song is not based on the submitted keywords from the 10s10w.com website. I’m working on these lyrics. So this song I submitted this evening is based on another project, called (No)Hope. I finished the lyrics today and recorded the song.

A While ago Ingmar De Vos approached me after he listened to my songs on my Soundcloud page. He studies Composition, Music and Studioproduction (CMS) at the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen, NL. He has an interesting project which I find exciting to collaborate on: a collaborative album entitled “(No) Hope“. This album will contain 10 tracks from different singer-songwriters. The collaboration will be, in my case, mainly done via the Internet.

The album
Main subject of the album is about hope and not having hope. This will bring up worldwide issues with society’s well known phenomenons.

The Project
Why I find this project quite interesting is because I want to experience the collaboration process on the Internet. I believe that his is an effective workflow to reach the biggest results in the shortest amount of time.
